The Relationship between Health-Promoting Lifestyle Behaviors and Sleep Quality of Nurses Working in the Pediatrics Clinics:

Objective: The study was conducted to determine the relationship between health-promoting lifestyle behaviors and sleep quality of nurses working in pediatrics clinics. 
 Methods: among clinic a training research hospital located X. Nurse Information Form, Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile-II (HPLP-II), Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) were applied nurses. Besides descriptive statistics, Mann Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis Spearman’s Rho Correlation analysis used for study.
 Results: Among 200 that surveyed, 121 (60.5%) responded. 81% (n=98) female, 19% (n=23) male, 80.2% had bachelor’s degree. Age average 25.74±3.86 years weekly hours 49.40±7.70 hours. It determined total mean score HPLP-II 125.26±16.40 PSQI 12.13±2.29. lowest subscale 16.19±4.64 exercise 17.71±3.74 stress management. A statistically significant correlation found scores (r= - 0.19; p< 0.05).
 Conclusion: above moderate level, their poor, there can be suggested by nursing conduct studies determining practices will improve enhance quality.
